It’s ALMOST that time of year!!

Hey everyone MelissaVT here!  I know it’s no surprise it’s almost Christmas time!  Since, after the back to school supplies were put away at the store the Christmas decorations came out!  I have a couple of crafy ideas for some inexpensive gifts!  I love doing these for my kids teachers and Sunday School teachers!

 

Aren’t those some great gifts!!  For the picture frames I just painted a frame from Michaels and printed out goodies from Nikki’s kits.  The clothes pins have magnets on the back to use anywhere.  And, who doesn’t love candles????

 

If you’re all wondering where I got this AWESOME kit from Nikki look now further!!  Well, you’ll have to wait a bit though!

Tuesday Hybrid

Hey Everyone!  Melissa here!!  Have you seen Nikki’s newest kit???  Oh My Goodness I love it!!

I’ve created a couple different creations using the kit for Halloween!

How cute are those!!  I live making the little “extras” to go on the goodies!

Here’s our family calendar I add extras too.  There is a shop here that sells different types of magnets for about everything imaginable.  I need to keep myself out of there otherwise I would really be broke!  I just printed out and put magnets on the backs of the extras!

 

I even made up the clothes pin magnets to hold stuff.  I had made other clothes pin magnets for my kids’ teachers last year for Christmas.  Easy, inexpensive, and the teachers loved it!!

Hey Everybody!   Cabana Girl Melissa here!  I have to start out apologizing for being a MAJOR slacker!!  Time is flying by so quickly I forget what day it is!  I had meant to post last Thursday and look it’s a week late!

Yum!!

Hey, Hey, Hey!!  What does everyone think of the Tiki Hut??  I am so loving it!!  There isn't any new releases this week but wait till you see what releases soon!!

I decided to post my favorite recipe for right now.  With all the fresh goodness in the gardens, we are making Zucchini bread like crazy!  I would’ve had a picture of the loaves but every time I turn around they’re GONE!!!  So, here’’'s the recipe! I found it on All Recipes by v. monte!

Moms Zucchini Bread

Ingredients

• 3 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
• 3 eggs
• 1 cup vegetable oil
• 2 1/4 cups white sugar
• 3 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 2 cups grated zucchini
• 1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

1. Grease and flour two 8 x 4 inch pans. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
2. Sift flour, salt, baking powder, soda, and cinnamon together in a bowl.
3. Beat eggs, oil, vanilla, and sugar together in a large bowl. Add sifted ingredients to the creamed mixture, and beat well. Stir in zucchini and nuts until well combined. Pour batter into prepared pans.
4. Bake for 40 to 60 minutes, or until tester inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in pan on rack for 20 minutes. Remove bread from pan, and completely cool.

I think it’s time to go make some more!!
